Bordeaux

I'm back in Bordeaux, and I never thought I would.
Bordeaux is not my favourite place on earth and I miss India deeply. I left a piece of me there and I now know that I always will be divided in between India and France.
However I'm rediscovering Bordeaux and learning slowly to like it.
I love to walk and over the last days I have been wandering around the city , enjoying new places.
Nevertheless there are two things that I always have loved here , the stone and the light.
Most of the houses in the city are build with this sand stone which comes to life with craving and with the light.
The light in Bordeaux , is very special and nowhere else I have seen one like it. It is hard to describe but it gives depth and soul to the things it touches, to the city , to the landscape , to the sky.
When the light meets the stone , it seems as if they are playing together , creating a world of their own , a world of beauty and magic.
