Snow

In Paris for the birthday of my godson, I faced the snow and became a modern version of a yeti !!!! I have been freezing since my return to France, slowly becoming an icecube, I have now decided to be a snowman.
These pictures are for you my indian friends, to send you a little breeze of freshness in the hot indian winter

Pete

When I was a teenager I wanted to be a pilot. As every 17 years old I went to see Top Gun at least 10 times and fell madly in love with Tom Cruise, I even had a poster in my room.....I know nothing to be proud about but nobody can be 100% perfect.....hum ...but I'm not that far from total perfection.....did somebody said something ?!!!!

Ok I realised that I could/would not be a pilot but I had always dreamt to met one.
My dream came true during those harvest. I met Pete.
Pete is a retired colonel ( he is 70) of the US army (he was a pilot). He was based in Germany, did the Vietnam war, was involved in the Cuba crisis...he is a real american soldier.
I must admit (sorry to all of you my american friends) that I didn't have the best image of the american soldiers . I had forgotten that they were like everybody there are good and bad one. I met a good one.
Apart from being amazingly young, physically and mentally , Pete is simply a wonderful human being. It has been for me a great lesson and gift to be able to work with him and exchange with him.
It is also amazing to see how little age is important when comon values are shared.
Because it means a lot for me I wanted to share that with you and wish all of you could have met him.
Lately I have been very often wondering why I came back to France. People are complaining all the time (I' m convince that we have created the art of complaing), my country is now on fire every night and some people live in a no man's land and still it is probably the most beautiful place on earth .....me chauvinistic....no.....
But still why did I came back ?
I guess one of the answer is because I had to meet Pete and learn from him and I'm immensly grateful for that gift
